How to Encourage Yourself When You Feel Lazy

There are days when you don’t feel motivated to do anything. So you sit down and waste time scrolling through feed after feed after feed. To be unmotivated is a real thing, but it’s not of God. Whenever I feel unmotivated/borderline lazy, I always go back to the word of God. The enemy tries to trick us. He makes us “feel like,” and therefore, we don’t do, and the work of God isn’t accomplished. That’s the devil’s goal; he wants to stop us from doing the will of God. 

Use the word against the enemy. Whenever you’re feeling unmotivated, go back to the word and encourage your spirit man. Don’t give in to your feelings, for as my mother says, feelings are fleeting. Shake over those emotions and make it a priority to read God’s word. The more you know, the more you grow.
