Only One Way
John 4:6a
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
I am not alone because he is the way, the truth, and the life.
I am not alone in the fight.
I am not alone in the valley.
I am not alone in the night.
I am not alone even when I feel alone. I am not alone when I am alone because he is always with me.
He is the way. It is so simple yet so hard for men to grasp. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
He is the first and the last. The alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end.
In him we have our being and in him we have freedom.
Can I see him? No, but I can feel him. Have I touched him? No, but in the spirit I feel his arms around me. Do I know what he looks like? I don’t , but I know he died for me and gave me an opportunity to walk into eternity
I could go on with numerous questions about Christ but all is void if you don’t accept that Christ is the WAY, Truth and Life.
Being a good person doesn’t give you the free hall pass to heaven. Giving to the poor and the less fortunate doesn’t make you the better candidate to be accepted into the book of life.
The question we must answer is, is he our way, truth, and life? Do you follow God in everything you do or is it only the things that appeal to you?
To be of Christ is to walk in his way and follow his path. To be just like him in every area of our life. To exemplify him to those who see us and come in contact with us.
But we must follow him, believe, and remain in his presence. For we are not alone. Saved or unsaved, Jesus is only one word away— just say Yes.
