The Bible truly has the answer to all our questions. From the tiniest of tiny to the biggest of the biggest, the Bible has an answer for everything. 

I was reading the word of God this morning, and my eyes were drawn to the book of James. In James chapter 2, the man of God began to bring to our attention partiality. Sometimes as Christians, we can be partial to be people just based on how they are dressed. In verses 2-4, the scripture describes two types of people; one adorned with gold rings and godly apparel and the other dressed in poor man’s clothes. We would treat the man dressed in gold with more respect than the man dressed in rags. 

The scripture reminds me of the Fast & Furious scene where Hobbs and Tej purchased cars to take down the enemy. The man at the car auction judged them because of how they were dressed. He did not realize that they were indeed rich. The moral of the scripture is don’t judge a book by its cover. We must love our neighbor as ourselves (James 2:8) no matter what they look like. 

The Bible has an answer for everything. It can help you navigate your way through life and teach how to be the person God wants you to be. You must read the word of God. Allow it to show you yourself. Allow the Bible to show you who God is and what God can do for you. 

The Bible has a wealth of knowledge that is timeless and lives on from generation to generation. To miss your window of opportunity to know Jesus because there will come a time where our bibles will be taken. But, as the scripture says, if we write the word of God on the tables of heart even if they take our Bibles, it will be with us forever.
