Let me preface by saying, I LOVE PASTA! Pasta is the way to my heart and it is one of the most versatile food items in the kitchen. It can be used in a multitude of ways. It is a dish that can be stretched feeding one person to one thousand people. But, what I love most about pasta is its affordability. IT IS CHEAP! It is quick and easy to cook in a matter of minutes. A little garlic, red pepper, and olive oil can make a delicious pasta dish. While vacationing in Aruba I had to visit Gianni’s Ristorante for my first cheese wheel pasta.

This was my first experience trying the cheese wheel. I’ve never had my pasta mixed together in a cheese wheel before and was excited to try for the first time. Having seen hundreds of videos online I was salivating at the delicious cheese being mixed in with my pasta.

First, the server using whiskey or some sort of liquor along with fire to melt the cheese. Sometimes the fire will turn blue. Then, he begins to melt the cheese and swirl it around in a circle a spoon using the back part of the spoon. Then the cooked pasta is tossed inside infusing with the cheese, becoming cheese and succulent. If you want a meat or poultry it will be added in after the cheese and pasta are mixed together. After both have marinated, it is then served on your plate, hot and ready to be eaten.

Never have I’ve seen such a beautiful food creation.
