Dessert Anyone?
There’s a little gem hiding in Saks Fifth Avenue on the 9th floor. Its hallways are dark and mysterious. But it leads you to this new society where waiters wait on you and hostess greet you as if you are the Queen of England.
Yes, a little gem awaits you on the 9th floor of Saks Fifth Avenue. L’Avenue , designed by architect Philippe Starck, this French styled dinning room invites you dream big, act big, and talk big. From the impeccable service to the delicious food, L’Avenue is worth every dime. Having had the privilege to dine there and experience its wonderful cuisine, it would be wrong of me not to mention one particular item on the menu that melted my heart and touched my soul.
Its name is forgotten, but its taste still remains in mouth. The taste of hazelnuts, chocolate sauce, rich cream, and broken chocolate shards made this delicious dessert a perfect end to a perfect day. When my bowl of heaven came to me, the waiter kindly pour the hot chocolate sauce all over the chocolate cocoon, breaking the exterior in smaller pieces. Every bite I took made me want to dive deeper and deeper into this liquid of chocolate gold. How can something so rich taste so good!
Don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself at L’Avenue at Saks Fifth Avenue. Trust me —- you don’t want to miss it!
