Behind summer, Christmas is one of the best times of the year. It’s not just because of presents, but it’s about celebrating our King. But it doesn’t mean I won’t be looking under the Christmas checking to see which is which (hehe).

I just love Christmas. I love it because of the holiday spirit. I love the lights and Christmas decor. I love the Christmas tree and the Christmas festivities. I love to shop at the seasonal stores that pop up in the park. You can go ice skating or see the lighting of the tree. During this time, hot chocolate becomes a “hot” commodity, and peppermint sales soar. I love walking in stores that are Christmas fanatics. I love driving in the neighborhood and seeing how each house is decorated in its own special.

Presents! It’s not bout the quantity but the thought that counts. I love to see them pile under the Christmas tree. I remember as a child wondering where all the Christmas gifts came from on Christmas morning. I knew it wasn’t Santa, but I couldn’t figure out where my parents hid our presents for all those weeks.

I love Christmas because when it comes around, my frown turns upside down. I love Christmas because it’s the only holiday that lights up the sky for the next 31 days with its giant floats and blinding lights. It’s a season of gifting giving, and I love it, how about you?
