Fall Back From Daylight Saving Time

I always love when daylight saving time reverses when November comes around. I am not a huge fan of daylight saving time when spring/summer time hits because I lose my precious hour of sleep, but when fall comes, I am grateful. While I’m not too fond of the days being shorter and nights getting longer (I’m a summer baby!), I think of two things: holidays and more sleep when I see the time change.

I am anticipating cold morning floors and leaves blowing everywhere, icy grass and foggy car front mirrors, and of course, homemade hot chocolate and holiday desserts. Besides summer, my favorite time of the year is the holiday season.

Why we continue to do daylight saving time in the 2000s is something I will never know. But, I am grateful to have made it to another month.

So if you work up this morning and feel your sleep is off, remember, you gained another hour of sleep.
