You found me in my brokenness 
 You pieced me back together in my loneliness 
 You made me the star that shines bright in the sky 
 My identity was found in you 
 My reason for living  was made new 
 And for this Jesus, I thank you

I love you for who you are and who you've always been 
 In my lowest estate you've been my dearest friend 
 I reached this far because you never let me down 
 You never let me drown 
 You held on tight until my grip was strong enough so you could pull me up 
 You waited for me to recognize how I much I needed you 
 And for this Jesus, I thank you
