When I think back I remember

The love I felt in December

To know you came and died for sinful soul like me

You gave your life so I could be free

When I think back I remember

I pause mid-thought when I think of your favor

I didn’t deserve it but the blessing came through

Pouring like a flood

The many nights I cried

The days I felt lonely inside

I felt your presence surround me

I felt your hands hold me

When I think back I remember

Every open door

Every happy moment created by an answered prayer

You hear me when I call

My eyes bear witness to it all

When I think back I remember

It is because of you I can move forward

When I think back and remember

Without you there would be no me

Without you I wouldn’t be able to breath

Without you Jesus, life as we know it would cease to exist

When I look back I remember
