What do you define as a good day? Is a good day, a day when everything in your life is going well? Or is it the perfect moment with the person you love? How about a day off from school or work or preparing for a vacation?

Yet, even on those so-called good days, I am reminded that because Jesus lives, every day is a good day. 

You shouldn’t base your good day on what happens in the day, but the mere fact that God is good makes it a good day. The fact that you are still alive and breathing makes it a good day. When I think about all the people in the world who didn’t make it to see the sunrise, I thank God because I know He didn’t have to do it, but He did. 

Every day is a good day because God is good! Even if He decided to take me out, I rest knowing that God is good, and if my soul is right, I”ll be with Him in paradise. 

Change your mindset toward the day. Yes, you will have bad moments. Yes, you will have arguments and struggles throughout the day, but when you make it home and open your door, say Thank you, Jesus; today was a good day. 

Every day is a gift from God. Every breath we breathe and every moment we’re alive is a gift from our Father. 

So it’s a new day, celebrate! Wake up saying Thank you, Jesus; today is a good day. Wake up with a praise on your lips and a song in your heart. Change your mindset and let yourself know (in the mirror, lol) that today is a good day!
