Five Ways to be Productive on Mondays
It’s that day again. It snuck up on us like it does every time. Before now, we were enjoying the final minutes of Sunday night, and now, it’s Monday.
But fear not, I have a plan, TAKE BACK MONDAY!
It’s all about our approach and our mentality towards everything. Yes, the thought of Monday isn’t always pleasant. On Sunday night, you’re reminded that work is upon you come Monday morning, and NO ONE wants to think about that. However, look at it differently.
You might be working a job you despised but give God thanks. You have a job. You might not be living the life you want right now, but do you have a plan? Put it into action on Monday morning. Put on your helmet of proactivity and take back Monday.
Walk into Monday and start the day with a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever drink you prefer. Make yourself an excellent breakfast. Pray and ask God to have His way in your life. Go into Monday with the expectation that I will get something done. Go into Monday, knowing that YOU GOT THIS!

- Change your mentality
- Change the way you think and act. You have to decide. Who do you want to be and where you want to be in the days and years to come? Taking back Monday is about saying, I am in control. I may have bad days or make mistakes, but I can conquer anything. You have to decide to change your trajectory. You have to decide to change your mentality. You have to realize that you need God and His direction.
- Pray
- Philippians 4:6 says, ” Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” We need to give God everything. He is the source of our strength. We don’t have to do it alone.
- Read the scripture
- Reading the Bible strengthens you. Before prayer or after prayer, when you read God’s word, it’s food for the soul.
- Make yourself some breakfast.
- Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. Starting with a good meal helps set the day and give your body strength to tackle the day.
- Execute the plan
- Put your money where your mouth is. If your plan is to have a peaceful day, then believe it and receive it. If your goal is to clean your room or film your first YouTube video, then put it into action. TODAY IS THE DAY!
Taking back Monday is a way of regaining control. Don’t sigh because its Monday, rejoice! It’s another day. It is a blessing, and it’s another 24hrs to make today better than yesterday.
