During our Sunday Night service the speaker made a profound statement. Often times we are waiting for God to unlock the door for us. We stand outside the door waiting and hoping he’ll turn the knob. We even look for a door knob desperately trying to figure out how can we enter in. However, what we don’t realize is the door is already open and all we have to do is push and enter in.

God sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. Jesus broke our chains and set us free. No longer slaves but free men! Therefore the door knob that was once present has been removed. The bible says in Romans 8:35-39,

"35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?....
 
38. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
 
39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Don’t let a missing door knob separate you from Christ. Stop looking for what doesn’t exist. Christ paid it all on Calvary and now all you have to do is push and walk in newness of life. Take that first step and walk in your victory because you are on your way to eternity with Jesus!
