Brown Butter Shrimp and my homemade Pan Fried Potatoes
Pan Fried Potatoes
Ingredients
- 3-5 russet potatoes
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Periog Mixed Spices (Chicken)
- Butter
- A little bit of water
- Chopped Chives
Instructions
After removing your shrimp leave the remaining sauce in the pan.
On high-medium high heat add a dollop of butter or 1-3 tablespoons. Allow butter melt.
Chop up potatoes in cube pieces leaving the skin on and add to butter. Allow the potatoes to fry and add your red pepper flakes. Then add the mixed spices and mix well.
After potatoes are well coated and formed a crispy layer add a little water. While adding your water you want to have your lid in hand. When you add the water and the steams rises cover your pot immediately. This will allow the steam to cook the potatoes on the inside. Keep your fire on high-medium high heat so your potatoes do not get mushy. Do this a few times until potatoes are tender in the inside and crunchy on the outside.
Once done, add your chives and plate with your shrimp.
